The worst thing you can do is to horde glycerin. It is a fire hazard and there are just too many ways of turning this hazardous waste stream into a valuable co product.

One way to turn a waste stream into a valuable energy product is to feed waste glycerin and spent washwater into an anaerobic digester. You can find a big digester at a sewage treatment plant or dairy farm or you can build your own personal digester. This is one of the few ways to dispose of glycerin that does not call for methanol recovery.
